In the market for an SUV/Crossover ......

Wifey needs a new SUV/Crossover.
Would love to do the hybrid thing.
She had an MB ML350.

Any ideas ???

I'm not looking to break the bank either.

My wife has an RDX. I'd steer clear of anything similar as they are too small.

It would be worth driving a new Explorer-seriously.

CPO Cayenne S is what my wife drives. 7yr/100K warranty. The 21" tires are a ***** every 15K miles though. Actually, all of the maintenance is pretty expensive for a daily driver. Our car looks and drives brand new, and could probably be bought for under $40K these days. Not sure on the price though. We have discussed what else might be a better vehicle, but keep finding ourselves loving this car!

Just bought the mother in law a cayenne. I can't say enough great things about that ride! It's quick and for an suv, handles like a go-kart lol

My wife dd's a CRV...very reliable, cheap maintenance, good fuel economy.

Very different ends of the spectrum. Are you wanting new? What's your idea of not breaking the bank? If this forums taught me anything its that a lot of people's banks are bigger than mine hahaha

If your wife is not looking for a larger SUV and is willing to wait, the 2014 Porsche Macan may be an option?

Acura MDX, it handles well, plenty of space for a mid size suv, the 3rd row seats are there if you need it, if not, they fold completely flat for plenty of cargo room. It's a Honda so you know it's reliable. Most importantly it doesn't break the bank like you said.

My wife has a RX450h Lexus. If you're looking for an around town transportation device, its ideal. 22 mpg, 4wd, very comfortable for 4 adults, keyless entry, etc., and b/c its a hybrid it qualifies for HOV lanes.
