Porsche 997 Key, Love or Hate?

I don't give it much thought except when I accidentally pop the trunk or unlock the doors with it in my pocket.
It's not nearly as bad as the Cayman key though as the rear trunk button on the Cayman is raised pretty high and there were many times I'd come out to the car and the hatch would be open.
I do wish it would give me a more positive indication of the doors being locked or unlocked. A beep or honk would be fine.

the 997 key is really ugly. its really too bad that porsche did not attend to this one. the 2 things that really peeve me with 997.2 the key and how the door closes. have a 98 merc s class and the key is way better than my 10 carrera s. 2 separate buttons for open and close and auto close of all windows including sunroof with a press of a button. folding key. is there no way to transfer the innards of our key to a better housing with these features??

I'm all about a folding key, Anyone crafty enough to try and attempt this? I've looked online about swapping internals, but don't want to swap like for like.
