is there an X-51 for the .2 or is that the GTS?

 

The .2 has the X51 option and comes with a sweet looking carbon airbox which you don't get with the GTS package.

 

you mean like the one in my avatar? but that is a .1 with 381PS, so then how many PS in the .2 X51?

997.2 Carrera S w/ X51 Motor was sold as "997 Carrera GTS" (3.8 litre, DFI, 408hp)

Porsche got smart by rebranding the X51 motor option as the "GTS". Values for 997.1 X51 cars depreciate too quickly becuase the average buyer doesn't know what the X51 motor is... let alone all other bits that came with the X51 package ($16K for 997.1 cars as an option).

 

You could still get the X51 option in a non GTS.

 

i love my X-51 and if i EVER sell it, i won't accept any depreciated offers...gawd, its so friggidiggin nice, drove the autobahn today and got a few looks at it in parking lots, whatever, and the macadamia glistening in the sun, thats a wow, think i'll go do it again tomorrow...we are getting gifted with kinda indian summer, time to cruise and enjoy my blessings and good fortune, , hope you all have as good a day tomorrow as i had today, cheers
