GT3 RS Exhaust Sound Recommendation

Mates,

Been resisting on messing with my stock exhaust 06 C4S but been watching and listening GT3 RS videos on Youtube and I gotta say, it's freaking addictive listening to the sound of the flat 6 revved.

I have done my search on aftermarket exhaust on forum and have a good idea what's out there.

In your opinion, which aftermarket setup, what kind of changes do I have to do in order to come close to the exhaust note of a GT3 RS?

Thanks,

I am not sure you can get the same sound because they are different engines. Different rev limits. You can see from my sig. Even wife's Boxster sounds different. I think you should look at tubi with bypass, FVD brombacher, cargraphic , other $$ ones. Videos don't do them justice. My 0.02c

I would have to agree that you will not get the same exhaust note of the GT3/RS despite your best efforts. Seapar gave good suggestions to get more grunt out of your 997.1 C4S. Look at my sig as well and I have a lot of the bases covered and nothing comes close to my Gt3.

Akrapovic slip on race sounds close but pricey. I have FVD Brombacher on my 911.

That being said I do favor maximizing the potential sound of your car to your liking as gray911 just mentioned. If you know what you want then you can buy new at end of year or end of month deals or pounce on a lightly used setup on the classified forums. Load up your paypal for your budget on this.
Good Luck.
