Azure. Probably the most comfortable convertible I've ever been in. She has some power too once your rolling. Ill take the GTS over it any day, just not on the back and forth to Manhattan.

No...that would be "On" the sport classic...this is a ducktail after market spoiler....what's the big deal anyway...

There was a discussion about this a while back. It was along the lines of the Getty duck tail and other aftermarket pieces being aesthetic and never tested (whatever that means) for their specific aerodynamic traits/benefits. That is, whether they are actually beneficial or deleterious to performance. I think the consensus was that OEM parts were safest (in respect to they were proven) but everyone seemed to have an opinion on this.

With that in mind, I guess it's a performance v. aesthetics issue as to whether or not it is a big deal. Personally, I don't go fast enough (on the track or the road) for it to matter so I'd agree that form follows function.

 

I'm not saying you can't get an excellent replica, I did. I'm just saying the link was not to the SC replica.

It might be worth give Getty a call. You never know what you might learn. Just sayin'
