Headers and Exhaust Installation
Just done mine, depends how easy it comes to pieces.
Manifold bolts can be a pain, had to hammer a smaller size socket on to get purchse. Catalyst nuts were rotten and had to be chiselled off in a vice. Nuts came off on the silencer brackets no problem, but easier if you use a long handled flexi head ratchet.
One of the bolts had siezed in the sleeve of the silencer bracket so had to get stainless pipe to replace it as the brackets are wildly expensive.
Don't remove the lambda probes, just unplug them and fees the wires down.
On a good day, with the sun shining, with the bumper and heatshields removed, everything cleaned up, with a full set of new bolts, rebuild shouldn't take anymore than 3 hours( that includes lining the tips up)
I also used stainless bolts throughout for future dismantling. Put the long silence bolt in from the bottom on reassembly as it saves having to remove the bracket in the future.
Also, while you're in there, if not done already, change your sprak plugs!!

I didn't have to take my rear bumpers off. I replaced my headers and cats and took me around 3-4 hours.
When doing my Gundo Hack, it took me 3 hours just to remove both mufflers, again without removing the rear bumper.

I did headers first and then cats by myself. Like some of the guys already said it might be a pain and you might have numerous issues with bolts etc. After all I'm not sure if its worth it to get into that by yourself. I didnt remove bumper for headers but I removed it when I was doing cats. It doesnt take much to remove rear bumper and it might make your job a little bit easier.
The night before spray all the bolts/nuts w/ WD40 or some other agent to make removal easier. Trust me that will help avoid scrapped knuckles and stripped bolts/nuts.
If you have access to a lift it'll go much quicker. If not use jack stands and/or ramps.
Mufflers alone can be done in about an hour if you have everything you need at hand.

I treat vehicle DIY projects with a basic rule of thumb, if you have to ask, then you probably can not do it.
Only reason I would not attempt a header install is because there's a good chance of breaking the bolts off and then you're going to have to have a shop or someone else do fix your screw up. Have a pro do it & save yourself the hassle and have peace of mind it's done correctly.

Muffler clamps can be reused but I'd suggest new header bolts if the headers are being replaced.
Boy, do I ever agree with that!
Almost every time somebody is asking about how to do a obvious job, I am thinking, if you cant see it for your self, youll never be capable of doing the work.
No disrespect to any of the guys who are asking. But most of the time, its just a waste of time for the guys who are going to the trouble of answering.

Headers & mufflers are simple 'wrenching' jobs. If one has the needed ratchets, extensions, sockets and basic tool skills the task is pretty straightforward. I'd say a 5/6 on a 10 scale. As I mentioned in a previous input prepping the bolts/nuts the night before w/ WD40 or some penetrating oil avoids a lot of problems.
