X-51 Carbon Fiber Intake upgrade done!!!!

Since this week has been hell at work, I decided that I needed to splurge a little to try to compensate my unhappiness
Anyway, I was checking my usual suspects on Thursday, when I saw this:

http://www.suncoastparts.com/product/x51air.html

They had a closeout special and only one available! I ordered immediately.

Anyway, got it on friday and by 10AM saturday morning it was installed!

Really love the look of this, installation was a snap and Suncoast provided with an array of parts needed, including a pre-installed MAF! Kudos to the Suncoast Team... I cut the hole on the deck lid and now the car breathes better with some smoothness on the power delivery and more noticeable torque at low speed... This is like a supermodel that knows how to cook!

Enough with the talking and enjoy the pictures!

I call BS on these "hp per $" posts. Some folks will spend big bucks on a silly (to me) bumper or wing to personalize their ride. How many hp there? Some spend $$$ to have the latest and greatest model. I'd rather spend the $ on an exhaust or a plenum, what suits me. You pays your money......to make your car your own. Anyone else's approval is not required. So bite me (or op in this case)!

lol! don't worry... it's just eye candy... if the car breathes better and perform better s an extra bonus... I have some more mods in mind: competition plenum, gt3 tb and race cats. maybe I can get the maxspeed motorsport X51 package solution of x51 plenum and x51 tb... oh well, I just love this intake!

I agree that it looks amazing installed... But I was wondering how you ever talked your wife out of having her keep it as a home accessory? It really did amazing things to the decor of your house.
