GT2 wing on C2S?

I just sold my 996TT and bought 997S. I'm only missing one thing (besides torque :P )... Wing.

I'm thinking GT2 wing. But GT2 rear decks are pricey. What do you guys think? Are there any good alternatives?

What's your favourite wing on C2S (pics would be great)?

I would prefer to change complete deck and keep original for future use. But it's not the most important thing in the world.

Thanks in advance guys!

Depending on colour you have how about a Ducktail? I have seen some amazing 997 pictures with the Duck. Personally I have the AeroKit Cup and love it

My car is black.

Ducktail is interesting. I think it gives a car some character. But it's not really my taste. I would like to give my car slightly sportier look without overdoing it.

I LOVEEE AeroKit Cup tho...

The problem I'm having is that after import taxes and VAT every GT2 wing I managed to find gets extremely expensive.

Still looking tho...

I purchased mine back in April of 2011 for $1100 plus $100 shipping in the US. They are a sponsoring vendor, so you can contact them directly to obtain pricing and shipping for your location. Best of luck!!

Thanks Rick! I contacted Misha and got a very reasonable quote for wing and delivery.

I think I'll go with GTM! I'll post some picures as soon as possible.

I love your questions!

I'm native... Born and raised in Slovenia. Porsches are not really as rare as you would imagine in Slovenia.

Sports cars are really expensive to buy here. After Polution Taxes, VAT and Vehicle tax Porsche C2S prices start at about 170k USD. 997TT starting price is about 260k USD.

But I love local roads, Pcar owners, motosport community etc. It's worth every penny.

The cost of gas is crazy here... 1.563€/L that about 2.037$/L or 7.7$ per gallon. And those are just average gas prices in Europe.

just paid 1.87€/L yesterday, i hope to get to enjoy your roads soon as well, unlimited speeds on the autobahn are nice, but there is more to these cars than going fast... and welcome! , cheers...

OEM 991 997 Turbo S Deck lid Wing Spoiler Available

I have a Porsche 997 deck lid/ wing spoiler available. Willing to entertain all reasonable offers! The deck is a 997.512.221.00... Porsche Heckdeckel Heckspoiler Motordeckel 911 997 Turbo S, the upper spoiler is a 997 Twin Turbo Hydraulic Bi-Wing Spoiler (not sure if upper wing is OEM or ?). Condition is very good!

I can email pics. I have not figured out how to upload them on this site.
