I did search first but can not find the link or directions to changing out the side marker lights. Help. Got the new ones but don t want to force anything... thanks

 

Look on the inner lip of the fenderwell right directly behind the side light.You will see a little black plug on the plastic wheel well lining.It can be seen the easiest with the tire turned to the inside of wheel well.Remove it and take an awl or a small screwdriver an push it in the hole to release the spring tension holding the light fixture.Surprised your side euro lenses didn't come with the directions?

 

On a scale of 1-to-10 in terms of difficulty, were 1 is the easiest. Side markers are a minus 4.

thanks, I just pulled on the back side and held the front side down and they popped right out.....

 

Welcome to the dark side, next stop full engine x51 kit! These cars are great to work on. Parts cost a bit more, but I've found the 997 easier to do maintenance items on than my Honda's. Brakes, oil, air filters, belts, all easier to get to and designed from the start for serviceability.
