997 as daily driver
My daughter is 8 years old 4' 6" and 63 lbs and she fits perfectly in the back.
I use mine as a Semi daily Driver.
Roads in Richmond Virginia are not the best. So after a couple of days of driving the 911 continuously, i begin to feel a bit fatigued from avoiding the potholes and almost carrying the car over any rough pieces of road.
Then when i pull out my other car, i realize that the Infiniti is the best daily driver i have ever had in my whole life. Although i am thinking of trading the Infiniti for a base cayenne as a Daily.

My 4 yo doesn't require a lot of room also. ample room especially if you move the front seat forward
One of the reasons I bought the 911 is b/c I could use it as a daily driver. It seems like one of few sports cars that you can use as a daily driver. it has enough space for most of my needs. I still need a 2nd car for those days I actually need to carry stuff around.
It is a little noisy. I don't really enjoy listening to music in the car. The car is just too noisy at highway speeds. Also the Bose stereo isn't that good. it's a lot better than the stock radio... but overall, it's just adequate.

If I had the space, I would definitely have a second car for commuting. I'm in bumper t bumper traffic for at least 20 min daily and it's starting to get really old fast and I've been thinking more and more about putting it up for sale. It's a great car but really needs open road to be enjoyed fully in my opinion.

PDK was out of price range when I bought the car and I didn't love the tip so I went for the 6 speed. I know.. complaining about driving a Porsche everyday.. boo-hoo. Traffic was light on the way home so I decided I'm keeping the car as of now. (until tomorrow's commute)
it was out of my price range too ...
25k over my original budget
i had to sell some guitars and amps and eat off the taco-bell dollar menu for a month .
i found a stick 2007 turbo within budget that severly tempted me , and even spoke to my credit union about getting the pre-approval extended long enough to put gt3's within reach .
in the end i stuck to my guns and found a great pdk car .
well worth it imho .
we'll have to meet sometime and you can drive it to see if it suits you .
i see it as an ideal car for everyday use .

I drive my daughter and her 5'8" friend (in the back seat) couple of times a week to school. ~30 minutes. You know there are probably no bigger whiner than teenage girls, but no complaints from them...But I am sure they will be relieved when I put up the P-car in a couple of weeks for the winter.
I DD mine (2006 C2). I bought it with 29,000 miles in 2010 and I now have 80,000 + miles on it. Routine maintenance is teh key (oil and filter change every 5,000 miles). There have been other repairs that would be expected (water pump - covered under warranty, clutch, flywheel, RMS at 70,000 miles, new brakes at 72,000 miles, and a few other issues).
The TPM warning is for a bad sensor in one of the wheels. They are between $80 - $100 to replace.

I work from home and go into the office once or twice (rarely) a week and do my errands with my car. So I guess its a semi daily driver. I like how it can be so smooth and comfortable when not in sport mode for regular daily driving and how powerful and can be a complete animal when you hit the sport mode or sport plus button.
