Tire dilemma... advice appreciated!

I am running a set of Yokohama AD08's, fantastic tires, only downside its loud. I recently took a nail in my rear tire near the tire wall, the tire is deemed unrepairable. now I have 3 tires sitting in my garage... fronts have 7/32, rear is about 5.5/32. I have been searching weeks on ebay for a used spare rear tire and one finally popped up. The ebay rear has 7/32. so here is my dilemma...

Its it safe to run two rear tires of different thread depth? Or should I bit the bullet and get two new rear tires?

I personally would always at least change in pairs if not per set!Just my opinion. You would probably be fine but...it would always be in the back of my mind!

Are you racing the car?, going to track days or just daily driving going 65 mph? there is your answer.

I wouldn't risk it. Just change the two tires for peace of mind...

Shouldn't be that big of a deal. You can always have the tire shaved if you like.
