So this afternoon, my four year old son was playing with the three neighbor kids in our cul de sac so I decided I'd wash the 911 so I can keep an eye on him as he played. Well as soon as I pulled the car out of the garage, suddenly their bikes and tricycles weren't as interesting as the 911 and they all insisted on helping. So I gave each of them a microfiber towel and taught them the two bucket method (I only have one mitt, which I used). Each got a turn with the hose spray. Then they all went back to playing while I finished up with the clay bar, polish, and wax. If I had known I'd have so many helpers, I would've washed my Subaru too.

 

Maybe one day, 20-25 yrs from now, they will get a 911 & remember the old guy who let them wash one..

 

I remember when I was 16 and got a ride in my friend's Dad's new 911. Midnight blue with black interior 6 speed. I knew then that I'd save up for one!

Ha-- I was thinking about that Subaru commercial when this happened. Still kicking myself for not taking a pic. And yes, don't think I'll get any such help with the Subaru.

 

My twin boys are 4 and are the same way. Loved the help last weekend!
