I have the FabSpeed GT3 Center Exhaust on my 98 911S. Love the sound. No drone at highway speeds. Sounds better than stock. Get into the throttle and the roar is deep and tight. Go to the FabSpeed website they have a few youtube dyno pulls. You may have already done this.

This link gives a pretty good sound bite of the exhaust on the 3.8. Sounds much better than the stock exhaust. Beautiful stainless system. Don't really know what else to say. My hearing has been getting worse by the year so who knows how good a judge I am. Its all subject to ones personnel taste. Me, I love it!

Had Fabspeed on my last car its good sound. If you have the $$$ and don't compromise on quality....I'd go GMG.

My Porsche tech....who is not only fabulously competent but a prince of a guy told me whatever I do to stay away from Fabspeed and go Tubi for the exhaust (which I did and I love!)!!

I wonder why? Anyone?

Also my personal experience with Fabspeed on my 2001 C4S Cab was not a good one (way too loud) and it prevented me for years of even considering an aftermarket exhaust!

elder......I truthfully don't remember exactly the highway sound as that was years ago. I can only tell you that overall it didn't work for me at all.

There are many people here I think that have them...hopefully they'll chime in.

The tech was adamant about not using them....strong feelings....he recommended Cargraphic (more for the Turbo) and Tubi.

These are just 2 people's opinions though (his and mine).

Good Luck! Love my Tubi!!

Well I have one on my GTS. I had the PSE on it before and it's defiantly louder but that was the sound I was going for. I have had many compliments from people who have heard it when I was driving. Its an aggressive sound if your looking for that. My car is not an everyday car for me so I haven't gotten tired of it. Makes me smile every time I drive it.
