+1

About 2 1/2 hours, going slowly. I did the door finishers on my old Cayman, and that job was about an hour for each door. Thanks for the comments!

Thanks for the link
The price is on the BP website, I can't recall exactly what the actual console itself was, but the back seat coin tray and trim piece under the shifter were $99 each..

Do these center consoles ever start to chip or scratch?

I had one in my Cayman for 2 years - my experience was it was more resistant to scratching than the factory soft-touch plastic covered console. Can you scratch it? Sure, with enough force you can. Is it more durable than the factory piece? In my opinion, yes. Covering in leather would probably be the best option with regard to looking new-ish the longest..

Does the factory painted center console include the rear coin tray?
I'm not sure why BP charges separate for that?
If you went with their basic center console painting option you wouldn't have a factory painted looking console.

Not sure about the factory one - I would image so but maybe not.. It's a separate piece because the Caymans and Boxters use the same piece without the rear coin piece - that is only used on 911s. It screws onto the main console piece.

As to your last Q, I guess I don't understand what you mean.
