I have a 997.2 gt3 and in the last 6 months, when making a long sweeper, either left or right, at normal freeway speeds (70 to 80 mph) the TC kicks in and cuts the engine/applies the brakes. There is no warning lite or beep. The car is perfectly planted and on dry pavement with no slip happening. If I take the same sweeper with the computer off, no problem. When it happens it is a little scary. There has been no tire/wheel or suspension changes.

Has anyone else had this happen and if so what is the problem. I had the dealer check into it and they came up scratching their head.

I wish I could help on this one. Sure doesn't sound normal because the GT3 should take a moderate turn at those speeds with ease. Are any of these turns off-camber? Is there anything about them that is deceiving in terms of angle that would cause the car to think there is a pending situation? Just reaching......
