997S Over Rev report

Hi, could you please tell me if this over-rev report is a reason for concern!?

Range 1: 14,445 @1219h
Range 2: 1424 @1219h
Range 3: 100 @ 856h
Range 4: 3 @ 706h
Range 5: 0
Range 6: 0

Car drives perfectly....

Range 1 and 2 are considered ok.
Porsche warranty in the UK are a bit funny about any in range three and above.
They look like they occured a long time ago, wouldn't bother me.

Looks fine to me, impossible to have sub 10 ignitions, so range 4 is a fluke anyway and as mentioned, happened a while back.

looks like track time. either that or boy racer taking off from every stoplight. in any event, that looks fine. just make sure to get a PPI and if youre really concerned, an extended warranty.

How many hours on it now? If close to the overrev time, looks like it was taken out for test drives by the valet parking attendants a la FB's Day Off!

Ranges 1-3 occur when you hit the rev limiter and are not a cause for concern. Ranges 4-6 are mechanical overrevs from, say, a missed down shift (ie, 3 > 2 at the red line when you wanted 3 > 4) and is reason for Porsche to deny warranty. At my last DE, a guy said he did this showing off on the highway. It chirped his rear wheels
