Softronic ECU chip - Battery Charger

Do you guys actually have to hook up the battery to the charger while uploading the new ECU map?

I hooked mine up to the trickle charger to be safe. Probably didn't need to. After all was said and done, the download took about 1-2 minutes.

Do exactly what "Vivid Racing" states for "Softronic Flash" and you will not have any problem period!

I didn't connect it to the battery, and even had my computer crash when down loading the new file.

I reinstalled the original file, and then re started the install of the softronic and it was all good.

And if it hadn't gone successfully? I just like following directions so if there is a problem, I have my bases covered.Sounds right to me!

Then you get it fixed.

If you don't think your battery can handle the 15 minutes , it is time for a new one.

It appears there are many ways of doing it. No need to follow the directions. If your planning to do it let us know what method you used and how it turned out.

The only that seems to have issues here is you GOLENJEEPTJ! Everyone has an opinion, and if you don't agree, you turn into a troll!

No one likes a troll, and by the the negative reputation you have, it should be pretty clear that people have told you this in the past.

If you just chill out perhaps you might make some friends.
