Leather seats - alternative clean up method

There have been a few posts here and on the 996 forum RE dye transfer from jeans etc. onto lighter color leathers. It looks like hell and the standard methods / products don't work very well cleaning it off.

I had the same problem in an older Audi, experimented a little, and came up with a pretty easy solution. Outstanding result. Posted here:

Note that I wouldn't use this method for ventilated seats or soft-finish leathers though.
