Hard to pull the trigger

Taking pictures to try to sell my 997S made me fall in love all over again. D&mn these are beautiful cars - feels like I'm getting rid of a child.

Unless you financially have to, DON'T! I sold one of my P-cars a few years ago and haven't stopped missing it. I've added more to the collection, but I put so much into that car and basically made someone's dream come true! One good thing was, it sold local and I see the car all the time.....

Thanks! After doing the Porsche Driving school in Alabama last year, I really wanted to start doing DE and track days. My 997 is too pretty for that, so I want to get an older (maybe 964) 911 that's either already set up as a streetable DE car, or make it into one. As part of my 'marriage tax' my wife has now decided she wants a Fiat 500 Abarth as her toy.

I also just picked up a Land Rover this past weekend and am now officially out of garage space (despite putting in a lift last year).

I hear you there! I had my brother's '83 SC in my garage until I got my own 997 last November. I "took care" of his car for 18 years! When he came to pick it up to move it to another garage, I was feeling as though one of my kids had just moved out of the house.
