Performance Friction Pad Change

I was never happy with the initial bite of the stock pads on my C2S. I was going to change to Paget yellow like everyone else since I am going to do a few track days with my friends. I have used PFC's on my race car and always liked them and decieded to look into them, seems like many club racers have been switching to these.
I went with the 08 compound, one of the dual purpose compounds they list. Instillation went well, of course you can't use the pad sensors like most aftermarket pads. They don't come with the round pucks at the top of the stock pads, I assume these prevent the backing plates from contacting the discs when the pads wear out.
After their recommended beding procedure I am very happy. These are a great improvement from stock, and they are fine for the first stop of the morning when cold. The 08 compound is supposed to be the most rotor friendly compound so wear should not be an issue, and on top of it all they were less expensive than the yellows. I did some high speed stops, in succession and I got no fade at all.
I also installed GT3 front brake ducts, and GT2 rear ducts I got from Suncoast. They were actually harder to put on than the pads. I had SS brake lines to install but I didn't have the wright size flare nut wrench so I will leave that to the shop when I get the fluid flushed.
My friends think I should have gone with the Pagets, but I have always been the one to try something different.

I've been curious to try the PFC08 too. I've been hearing good things. I've always used Pagid Yellow and have been happy with them. I just bought a new set for this track season so it will be a bit before I try the PFC. I guess I can just enjoy wearing out the Pagids!

someone just told me PFC were comparable in stopping but even more harshon rotors than the pagids. i was thinking of trying them out too but my rotors already take a beating from the pagids so not sure i want to switch.
