I have a 2007 c4s. My question is I have PASM and sports mode......do I have PSE when sport mode is on? I thought I had a PSE button but I dont lol...car had been parked all winter now
Will I gain anything doing a gundo hack? I dont think I will but I thought I may as well double check. Thanks.

First you have to determine if you have the PSE mufflers. Simple test is to just look at your four exhaust tips. If they are different in size & offset you probably have PSE. If they are all the same size and not offset you have the 'standard' muffler.

The 997's w/ the factory PSE button (exhaust tip icon) are those that didn't have the Sport Mode option. Most of those were non 'S' cars.

Sound is the only thing you'll gain w/ the gundo hack or PSE for that matter.

In looking (squinting) at the OP's avatar, doesn't look like the PSE exchaust tips to me.

Looking at your "Winter pictures" thread pictures, you have PSE. When you engage the "sport or sport-plus" button your PSE should be engaged. Once you start car, press the sport button and you should hear difference sound also at once.

I believe you are mistaken. Those tips are all the same size w/ no stagger or offset. They are not PSE tips.

But when I re-read the two threads I quickly realised the link was before I even knew what a gundo hack was, thanks to everyone's post's I now know. This thread is me trying to find out if I have pse because i don't have a pse button but was told the sport button does the same thing. Thanks so much tho for your fantastic advice!!
