Hre p40s use original lug bolts?

Just wanted to verify, skipped my head, but hre recommends using original lug bolts in the oem lenght when installing the p40's, yes? Had oems and moved on to hre p40's and used the original bolts to install.

oem bolts can be used and are actually better as they have a collar that prevents tearing up the softer material of the wheel.

i often just spray paint them black and it blends them in well

You can also get new OE style (floating collar) bolts from H&R - available in black or standard silver.
Another option that would look nice on your HREs would be a set of the TiKore titanium lug-bolts which also feature a floating collar design.
Let me know if you have any questions about either option.

Actually have the oem bolts with gloss black plastic bolt covers. Fills up the bolt holes and look nice...of course to my eyes.

No problem using OEM bolts with my HRE's even with some track use.
