I did everything you are thinking about doing, silver hood crest, silver/black center caps, and red S. I think it looks a lot better this way. The silver, IMO, matches a lot better than the gold did.

 

have the black '911' right now (replacement for the broken 'carrera')

i am considering going back to the original silver 'Carrera S'..

Thanks for the replies. I think that I'll go with the red 'S.' Do you guys recommend getting it at Suncoast?

 

I personally don't like the "S" from Suncoast. Get a plain one and have it painted by a local body shop. I had mine done by a shop that restores muscle cars and the candy red looks better...IMHO.

 

My $.02 :

Go for the silver/black wheel crests. They are cheap & easy to change back.

I'd keep the "Carrera 4S" on the back. No red "S".

Go for the silver hood crest.


I am considering also going to black/silver wheel crests & a silver hood crest on my Arctic Silver S. I think it would look better personally.

 

Although I think he can do whatever the F he wants with his car, this was pretty damn funny...

 

And back to your post, these are just MY opinions:

Yes on the black and silver crests

Yes to the Red S

Ether the 911 badge or the carrera badge with the 4S, S in red.... or better yet, debadge it...
