Adding a Rennline black mesh grill to the front. I'll install it when I'm back from vacation. Impulse purchase while drinking too many margaritas

Body shop photos below. The car is covered in dust from fitting the body kit.

Rear bumper removed, including bumperettes. To be replaced with a GT3Tek bumper. The bumperettes will not be going back on. Also adding a GT3Tek lip to the rear wing.

Roof rails removed, door coming off later for repainting. Sills to be replaced with GT3Tek versions.

Hood stripped, ready for paint

Front bumper removed, being painted now. Will add a GT3Tek lip and Rennline grills.

911Stud is infamous around these parts
Paint needs to cure for a minimum of 30 days before a paint protection film is applied.

I agree with 911Stud. From what I recall no one recommends waxing or doing anything to a fresh paint job for at least a few weeks until its done curing. I know paint shops "know their stuff" but the detail guys who work on paint and protection say to wait.

Though it does make you wonder. For those who get clear bra from the factory it must be done shortly after its built. So maybe its all just a matter of who you listen to???

Most imported cars experience a ~4-week transportation period, enough to let the paint cure. Domestic ones are a different story.

True but I highly doubt the clear bra is put on at the local dealership.

Teaser shots. I'm waiting on brake parts to install the turbo caliper upgrade and Carrera S II wheels.

Notice the missing bumperettes on the rear. I'm still undecided if they should go back on or not.

Would leave the bumperettes off I think it looks better the way you have it now. Your car is looking really nice

Shot from last Sept after all the work was done. The car is back at the body shop now fixing the GT3 smile install I screwed up, and installing a TechArt Type III wing. Should have it back next week sometime...
