Re-read my post - I didn't mean to sound unfriendly.

I thought you were suggesting adding bells and whistles to the 996 wheel designed wheel. 996s don't have PDK, sport mode, etc, and the wheel hub does not mount on the clock spring on 997 or 991s.

MIkeGTS, for me it was definately worth it. it is the first thing I see when I open the door and it feels so much better in my hands that the old OEM wheel. It is definately an investment, but I would do it again in a heartbeat

Hey guys thanks for the comments. So I am going with DCT Motorsports as they can make the wheel I like.

So here is the sample of what they are going to make me. I need your guys input on whether I do the Red Leather bottom as in the picture or black leather bottom?

Attached a pic of my car too...
thx

I think I like the red on the bottom, is there any other red in the car?

I do not think you can go wrong either way, mind sharing how much that bad boy will set you back?

Very nice Wheel

I would be careful not to get too carried away with color etc. If you have a red and black interior, I might consider the red on bottom of wheel. Otherwise I think I'd stay with one color to avoid making too big a statement with the wheel. I'm very happy with my stone gray DCT wheel with the sport grips and flat bottom.

Pics added. Sorry the wheel wasn't straight, but after all, it usually isn't straight when driving enthusiastically LOL.

Thanks ken. I'm taking your advice, all black stock look it is. Although I am going to do the red leather at the 12 o'clock. When he sent me the pic of the red option my 22 year old assistant was like go with the red!! Glad I ran this by you guys

I agree. On a full leather car I think it looks best to match the wheel stitching or colored sections of the wheel with the rest. I've seen red and yellow wheel stitching against the silver or light gray stitching on the factory leather and found the look a bit disjoined.

I love my DCT wheel, feels great and more substantial than stock.

Time is one aspect. DCT will do more custom stuff. Dallas you can customize leather, style, color, pad thickness, but he can't change the shape of the wheel (flat bottom). I have an oem wheel I had recovered by them and they did a really nice job for a great price. AND fast service (way less than a week).

Preliminarily, I pieced together a montage of images. Hopefully this is how it will turn out. Incidentally, I suck at photoshop.
