Acquired 997 S

Thought I would post pictures of my recently acquired 997 S. I have had this for a month now and thought the road noise was too much. I just swapped out the Pirelli's for some Potenza's and now I love the car... it is amazing at how much quieter the road noise is and how much better the car drives now with just a tire swap. Next round I will try the PS2's

Anyway here are some pic's.... car is dirty.

I will keep mods simple... I am in no hurry, but when I do it will be just the following:

Appearance:
- Ducktail
- Lip Spoiler
- 19" Fuchs (Maybe)

Performance
- 200 Cell Cats
- Mufflers
- Cold Air KIt (Fabspeed)

Congrats! It's good to keep it simple. I try to keep my car as close to original as possible. Having said that, gotta do the Gundo Hack. It's the poor man's version of the PSE. I heard it sounds even better with the 200 Cell Cats. Search gundo here and you'll find tons of info about it. Enjoy your new ride.

With the CAI you need an ECU Flash.

Congrats too if you can keep the mods simple. I have found it to be a slippery slope

Congrats!

Save your money on the mufflers and CAI, will not add any noticeable improvement other then sound. The 200 cell cats will give you a little extra performance though.

Thanks all for the comments. It will be awhile til' any mods happen... however, carnut12 has me thinking about the clear markers.

I removed the lobster forks and cleaned all the dirt from the back... they look new now. I should have taken pictures as it appears it the wheels were never cleaned that good before.

Thinking od clay barring it next week.
