For the true-day-to-day, true-Porschephile, the wide-azz-beautiful-rear is the ultimate 911(XX) car.

I bet that most of us, when we were young, the Porsche model that caught our very first attention was the widebody turbo model. It was the widebody then, and it will always be the admired model.

Thanks Bob, it's an 06. They are aftermarket Dectanes from Orange tuning. I got them when everyone else did a year or two ago. Spend some quality time with your 911, I took most of the swirls out a month ago and wash and wax it again last week. Damn them black cars, so much work but the end result is so worth it. How is your turbo treating you?

Google'd for a couple of ***-comparo shots and came across these.

Ynot, my '06's running great and I look forward to all my drives. The only thing I worry about is speeding tickets. Love the look of your Dectanes, I suppose I'm going to give in eventually and get a pair. I definately don't wax as often as you do!

Love those TPC turbo cars, I look forward to driving it as well. Do it, it'll update your rear end, looks much better imo. The dectane has been pretty reliable as well. I haven't had any problems so far. I wax mine twice a year. That is enough. Over waxing doesn't make it shine anymore.

The top pics are at different angles and the tail-lights are definately not the same (997.1 vs 997.2 maybe???), but looks like a bigger difference than actual. The Bottom pic honestly I can barely tell the difference at all.

When I saw them side by side at the dealer I had to look multiple times to see the difference. I still say GTS, get the Wide Body and can also get RWD.
