Has anyone here tried this product? Please let us know your impressions. Obviously the real deal (film type products) would be thicker, last longer, and offer more protection, but this stuff is at a tiny fraction of the cost associated with having film applied.

Hmmm interesting product. I will be monitoring this one closely for feedback.

 

I'm thinking it would be ideal prior to road trips and on track days to help mitigate cone rash.

 

Looks like a clear plasti-dip. A buddy of mine put it on his M5 but I have not seen it in person. He said it turned out ok but he is going to remove and reapply to see if be can get a better result the 2nd time around.

 

I'm not so concerned about looking perfect as long as it provides protection on trips, etc. It's cheap enough to use and toss once the trip is over.

 

The one question I had that nobody, including The Bump, could answer......It's clear, but is it a glossy or satin or matte or flat clear???

If you watch the video, it looks like it's clear and "shiny" - not matte finished. But it sounds like actual experience is different from the manufacturer's video. Personally, I am still interested to hear from more data points before I completely rule it out.
