If you're near your car, just look through a side window or the rear window to see if the red alarm system LED is blinking, which indicates that the car is locked and the alarm is active.

The service rep at my Porsche dealer said they could program the horn to beep when the doors are locked by the key fob.

Call him out on it and have him do it. No one has done it so far.

Good idea at night...but light is very difficult, if not impossible, to see in the bright daylight.

the discussion was about a delay in the flash not the lack of a flash.

i used my durametric pro on my 07 to change code so windows go up when you hold
the remote to lock & go down when you unlock- love this feature & added benefit is i always know if it's locked.

ha- didn't think about weather issues- as we rarely have any! You do need to hold down the remote a bit longer to get windows up/down- so you do have option-
