Tires

Looking for new tires, thoughts on Bridgestone RE 11s vs Michelin pilots? Others to consider?

Thanks for the input

I've used the RE-11s and MPSS and I'd go for the MPSS again. They work well on the street and aren't bad for a DE. I have about 14000 mi. on the current set of MPSSs and they still have plenty of wear left in them.

I went with Falken FK453's.

5k miles so far, great on the track, pouring rain and quiet at highway speeds.
Still look good, no major wear.

I've owned just about every high end tire out there and I can honestly say that these MPSS I am running currently are the absolute best imo.

They are quiet, wear evenly, grip VERY well in the rain not to mention dry weather.

The only gripe I have about them is the price but let's be honest.... Does the extra couple hundred make a difference?

What are your use cases?
RE-11 has better dry grip.
MPSS is better in the rain.
RE-11's are obsolete. RE-11A's have even better grip.

i have MPSS and on Saturday i am changing to the Hankook RS-3s. I do autox the car.

For overall daily driving i have to say the MPSS are probably the best option out there... Most probably after the RS-3s i i will get the MPSS again since for events i will be getting a set of 18s...

I have the RE-11's. I'm quite happy with them. I've heard nothing but good things about the PSS so I might go with them for my next set. They're not N rated but I think N rating is overrated anyway.
