Sounds like my tire blew but tire is fine. Shakes as if tire was flat? please help

Hey Guys,

So I was driving on the highway and I immediately felt as if my front tire blew. I slowly started to pull over and check the tire. Tire turns out to be fine. I continue to drive slowly on the emergency lane and it feels as if my tire was completely flat (but its not). Do any of you have the slightest idea what this could be? 06 Carrera s.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Just drove it around the neighborhood accelerated and put it in neutral and it sounds like the car was dribbling a ball but without the car shacking at all. Its a rotational noise. It sounds as if the tire had an air bubble, but without the feeling.

Take the wheel off and inspect the inside side of the tire. The problem may be difficult to see unless you remove the tire.

Check the wheel bearing. That would be my bet.

Inboard section of tire severely cupped/worn or a possibly a broken tire belt. Our 325i recently had a badly worn inboard section of the left front tire, every time you hit the brakes the car would pull badly to one side and shake.
