where is the engine code on the car exactly? i used my vin and engine number on the porsche certifcate to confirm that i am out of the ims range but would like to find the engine code on the car...

Look under the car, just behind the drivers rear wheel on on the engine. I used a stainless steel brush to clean it off. Its real obvious once your on a knee looking underneath.
