Thinking of 2nd vehicle (Daily Driver)
I've been using my 05 997S as DD for almost 3 years now.
It has new engine thnx to IMS failure under CPO. : )
So don't really want to drive it EVERY day.
I'm thinking about a new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited ( 4 Dr.)
whatta ya think ????

You just freaked me out! Why? I have been surfing the net for a Wrangler myself as a 2nd car (the LandCruiser gets 10 mpg and it is slowing down on me).
I think it's a great idea. What I found, surprisingly, is that they still cost a lot (relative speaking anyways). Mileage isn't as great, but perhaps a tad better than the 997. The engine (if its the 4.0) maybe problematic so do your research.

I have thought about getting one, I used to have a Rubicon. I think the 997 is a better DD, but do not know what your commute is like or how many miles you put on your cars a year. It will get much worse MPG than the 997.
I did like mine, but not as a DD. Maybe if you split between the 2? They are fun and the Tops they make now are much easier than mine used to be to take off and on.

No worries about scraping spoiler lip, see high above traffic, and door ding-proof due to side steps - perfect for in city, or off road.. I highly recommend modifications by AEV (Jeep on right). And...the 3.6 liter Pentastar engine provides 0-60 in the high 6s.

If you're looking for a jeep, you have to check these out. No affiliation, just a few of my friends have bought jeeps from this place. They are sweet!!

JD Powers reliabilty ranking for 2013 Wrangler is 2 out of 5. Side impact safetyrating is M ( marginal ) which is one up from poor . Their noisey, get poor gas mileage, rough riding, leak when it rains, .... They look cool though.
I get far more comments and admiring looks for my tastefully modified Jeep than my 997. They transcend all demographics: pull up next to one at a stop light and you're likely to see any gender, age, or income level. They are fun, and relatively inexpensive to modify. The Pentastar just flat hauls ***, but I will trade for the 2016 turbo-diesel in August 2015. I average 18-19 mpg (even on my big 35" tires) - better than my 911 - and it uses regular.

Had a 2001 Jeep Wrangler Sport ( 4.0 6cyl ). I put 88k miles on that thing and had no trouble with it except for some electrical gremlins that I'm sure were a result of leaving the top down. Good choice.
I have a 2012 Unlimited and LOVE it, the mod bug for them hits worse than any vehicle I've ever owned. It's my first Jeep...and I was absolutely surprised at how smooth and quiet it was on the highway, and I've had an absolute blast driving it off-road....here's a pic at Corolla NC about 4 months after I bought it...I've added spacers (1.5" Spidertracks), IPF968 windshield mounted off-road lights, and powder coated grey the polished aluminum stock wheels, and a thule' roof rack. I have mods on the inside too. it has a leather interior, satellite NAV/bluetooth/etc...very good vehicle so far and it now has 32k miles. I drove it from NC to Breckenridge Co. in June of this year and it didn't skip a beat. It has the new 6-cyl engine and got about 20 avg. MPG going to Colorado. I live for getting the doors off and just riding around when the weather is nice.
