At 6'5", it is inevitable that my right knee rubs against the center console in some cars, my '09 C2 among these. I've tried neoprene (think wet suit), which doesn't quite do it, but recently stumbled across an Alaska firm which makes custom sheepskin pads for motorcycle riders.

I want to give "Barb" at Alaska Leather a plug on this forum; I e-mailed her a template and the product was produced quickly, to my specs, at a very high standard and a reasonable cost.

Exceeded my expectations on multiple fronts and highly recommend.

Stupid question...do you bump ur knee on the side while driving or while getting into the car or both?

 

While driving - very annoying on long road trips; will clock close to 800 miles during the course of the upcoming SVRA event at Watkins Glen and the old slab of wet suit just wasn't working well enough
