Here you go, the verdict is in! PASM issue is resolved. Drove it around for approx 20 miles on both smooth and semi-rough roads. Mostly on smooth roads though as our roads here in L.A. are pretty good. Drove mostly in normal mode. There is no difference at all in smooth roads. In semi-rough roads, there is only a marginal difference at most if any. It may even be just psychological to me knowing that I've changed the springs. Definitely not harsh at all as some people have described it to be. Overall, I'm very happy that I've done it.

I believe that's what I have. When you order it, just mention you have a Carrera S with PASM.

Awesome setup!!!

AWESOME SETUP!!! I have a 2006 C2 and have been thinking about it.Did you have to change anything else? Struts, toe control arm links, anything else other than just H&R springs? Also, how long did you wait to get alignment done after spring upgrade? I have heard some people do one immediately and the other one after a couple of hundred miles of driving.

Do it, it makes the car looks so much better w/o much difference in ride comfort compared to stock. No need to change anything else. Eibach makes springs for the 997 under the Techart name. I would wait a week or two for the springs to settle before doing an alignment.

Romy, I've been kicking this around for about a year, and it seems like you had similar reservations, but once you decided to go for it, you seem pretty pleased-

A few questions:

Do you daily drive your car?

I put just over 20,000 on mine last year, all pleasure miles (I walk to work) mountains canyons coastal etc. and I think the car is very comfortable stock, but like you, I think it can feel a little soft at times.

Does the car scrub in the canyons now?

I don't have a lot of tricky speed humps or steep driveways to deal with, but I do tend to tear it up in the canyons, and rubbing everywhere I go would definitely bum me out.

I think the drop looks awesome, and value your feedback, as well as others, please.

Will you also keep us posted how the ride feels as the springs settle in? Oh- and do you have a S.O. That rides with you? Do they notice a difference in the ride, with or without PASM on?

Thank you for this thread! post

Dan
