I plasti-dipped my rear emblem

I also have an arctic silver on arctic silver CarreraS logo that looks very plain vanilla. Is this truly as fail safe as you guys state? Where do you find the paint and assuming I'd want to go with red to color match my calipers how do you know you have the same shade of red? Suggestions regarding what you used to mask the area around the area being painted? Did you just use blue painters tape? Thank you in advance for your input.

Regular masking tape. Depot and Lowes usually only carry black and white but various colors can be ordered directly from plasti-dip. Google for their website.
It really is fool proof because if you don't like what you've painted, you just peel it off. But at the same time it is very durable....like my previous post on my Jeep wheels.

I have done extensive work with plasti dip and one thing I don't like doing is emblems like that.
they are VERY easy to screw up if you touch it the wrong way during washing the car. be extra careful. Other than that, enjoy!!
I'll go ahead and add - if anyone has any questions about Plasti Dip, check out www.AutoDipDesigns.com
I started the company a while back and a friend owns it -

Nope....you don't have to remove tires! Just use masking tape around the edge of the wheels. If you get any PD on the tires, it just peels off.
