We just completed our second 997S Cab (we usually do coupes) with the H&R lowering springs (yes they truly are available guys!) and I was actually really impressed with the handling. On the test drive I expected the 20 inch tech arts to be iffy but I had a lot of confidence in turns and so on. Plus yeah it does look pretty slick... We had a few people do the usua "Daaaaaaayyyyyum". Toomer's car is so well optioned. It's got a really slick interior with all kindsa silver accents. My favorite 997S cab to date.. I know the tech arts are heavy but the look pretty beefy/mean!

Now that we've done a good few 997S' with the lowering springs I can honestly say it compliments the PASM suspension really well. The handling is no worse, which has often been the case when simply slapping springs on (like on non PASM cars). For a change you don't seem to have to sacrifice handling for looking good. On the 996s I always steer people away from springs in favor a true coil over kit such as the PSS9s to avoid, pogooing and so forth...

nice color combo and rims. I prefer rims with a little bit of a lip to them but these techarts do suit the 997 cab really well.

Seriously this car has so many nice options and has all kindsa cool silver bits on it (would make Eric proud!) and it's well on its way... Looks so darn nice dropped and with those wheels. Next up flash, intake lol... We got some plans for that cab.

Is it me or does the 997S cab look a lot better than the 996 cab (no offense to 996 owners)?

no offense to all. but in my personal opinion the 997 cab is better looking than the coupe as well. Porsche did a classic yet clean design on the cab.

 

That is the most beautiful 997 or 911 for that matter I have ever seen .... Alex was it lowered and what was the total cost ... what is the breakdown ... lowering tires labor wheels etc.

in my opinion, 997 and 996 differ in looks only in two areas

front light

and

more pronounced rear spoiler louvers

The first is a matter of opinion/preference. The second is a 997 advantage.

It's all santino! He picked them.. actually he came by the day the transport was here to pick up Todd's car and then in-came Jeff with his 997S in the same fashion and that was the end of that!
