UGHHHHH so I failed smog yesterday TWICE. Thought I could go on s spirited run to sneak by the 2nd try but no dice. Car is running evo CAI, fabspeed mufflers, fabspeed high flow cats and a revo state 2 tune.

car failed by 2 points on the 25mph test.

suggestions?

is tough...I did the fister and no problems...
Now I have to get my dodge ram diesel smogged every 2 years, that's why I bought a diesel so I didn't have to deal with all the smog BS

 

where are you in cali?

 

If just 2 points, I wonder if that bottle of Pass-Smog that I see at PepBoys would do the trick?

 

If in California, I'm surprised you even passed on visual unless the CAI and muffler/cats all have CARB stickers.

 

This thread makes me happy to be in Florida (NO emissions checks). I would never pass in Cali

 

i actaully had to get a smog a few months back, i just removed my Fabspeed X-pipe (it can be done without removing the rear bumper or exhaust) .


I am running PSE though, I'm hoping you'll pass with the Fabspeed mufflers alone.

 

Is insurance lower in Cali compared to the rest of the US after they put you through these freakin tree-huggin' tests?
