Good luck with the plug change. Unlike what some threads said, I found it relatively easy. Just watch out for plug #4: I was not able to torque the left bolt and had to resort to "by feel"

Cans and wheels off!

I hope your plugs come out uniformly gray as mine did at 59k. I was happy!

Tip: always use anti-seize compound on exhaust nuts and bolts. I suspect the cans will always be taken off on all future work.

Oops! I guess you have a DFI. Mine is 997.1. I guess no need to share my torque values for the different components.

What the heck? For people with non-DFI,

spark plug 21Ft#
Coils bolts 7.5Ft#
Coil/heat shield 7.5ft#

well I heard that the 997.1 was harder than the 997.2 to change the plugs so I should be OK.... wanted to cheat and work around mufflers but I did just have them off to do the Gundo last year so they should come off easy if it gives me that much more room.
