Another Wheel Spacer Question

'05 Carrera S (997) Stock.

So is it 7mm front and 15mm rear? I see lots of posts using various thicknesses. I suppose it's a matter of choice, but some posts lead me to believe otherwise. I'm looking for improved handling and a more aggressive look, but nothing too radical. I drive this car to work, but I do take it to the track (POC - PDS) several times/year and I'm trying to get my lap times down.

I bought 7mm front and 14mm rear (package #12) from this place for my 997.1 C2S. The service was excellent and the price was quite reasonable, as it included both the spacers and the lug bolts. It achieved the look you say you're looking for -- somewhat aggressive without looking silly, if you know what I mean.

I have a set of 7mm /15mm rss spacers if you want them. Had them on the care for a few Months and then decided to get track wheels with different offsets. Pm me and we can settle on a price.

Seems that 7mm front and 15mm rear works good for stock wheels but not always with after market wheels. Champion for example is flush up front with 5mm and only needs 7mm for the rears. My current HRE's are good with 5mm front and rear.

OP - my car is lowered on stock wheels and I have been told 7/15 could be more than enough. Is your ride height stock?

It varies depending on the wheel offsets. I have 7 fronts/15 rears sitting on Carrera S II rims with the following offsets.

Fronts: 19 X 8s ET 57 (w/235/35s)
The 19 X 11s ET 51 (w305/30s)

Check it out.

I would love to see moar pix if folks have some. I'm interested in spacing mine out too.

I've got the 997.1 C2S Cab, with the 19" Carrera Classic Wheels. I would really love to see photos of this set up with spacers like mentioned here.

Here are some pix of mine with the stock set up, using stock spec tires for reference (295's out back):

Wow! Thank you all for this advice. Looks like I'm going to try the 7/14 or 7/15 combo. I'll take some before/after shots.

I'm curious to hear about handling difference after you will install the spacers. One of the reasons why I didn't do spacers is because I was worried about negative impact on handling. I believe porsche is fine tuned machine and didn't want to disturb it's balance.

I'll let you know. I have same concerns, but as Porsche offers mild spacers as an option, I figure it's a relatively safe bet. Lot's of guys on the track use them, and seem to think they improve handling.

Our most popular size spacers are indeed 7mm up front:

and 15mm in the rear:

Both sets can come with either black or silver lug nuts which is nice.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

I dont want to hijack the tread but I have a 07 carrera s with the following wheels,

Front 8.5 x 19 et55
Rear 11.5 x 19 et67

would the 7/15mm combo work well with theses wheels. (Factory Carrera S Sport)

thank you and again sorry for hijacking the tread.
