South End Seattle Wa Gundo Hack

Top Gun Muffler in Summer Wa finished my Gundo Hack today. They did the entire job for $225 less tax. The car has some attitude now. You can give Neel a call at 253 863-3011. What a dramatic sound change for fraction of the price of aftermarket mufflers.

How long did it take? I'm interested, but would have to wait with the car.

Can you post pics of the welding work? TIA.

Call Neel and arrange your appointment. He's not open on Sundays so I droped off my car Saturday at closing time and he put it inside the shop. I picked it up Monday after I got off work. According to Neel he's been in business 22 years. When I picked it up I asked him how it went and he told me they had no trouble at all, the mufflers came right out without removing the rearend cover or the wheels. I didn't ask him how long it took, but being this was the first time he did one of these I'm sure the next one would go even quicker and he'll be able to tell you how much time he needs. They used 2" stainless steel tubing. I gave him colored pictures that I printed from this Forum and told him to keep them for future reference. I couldn't be more satisfied.

I was finally able to arrange transportation, so the appointment is set for next Wednesday to do the GH. Same price as before. I hope to be as happy as you are!

You'll be smiling every time you turn that key. I heard someone say that they find themselves turning off the radio just to hear the exhaust note. I sometimes do the same and roll both windows down. It definitely gives the car personality; mellow when you are just cruising yet proportionately aggressive with throttle input.
$ 244.00 with tax for Gundo?
$ 1,400 aftermarket mufflers?
No brainer in my opinion.
Neel at Top Gun will do a nice job and take good care of your ride while it's there.

Everything went smooth as silk at Top Gun! Car sounds completely different, like it should have when it left the factory. Thanks for the info and recommendation!

I have the factory PSE on my C2S. It's always open. Just wondering if the gundo hack would do anything at all to my car.

Boomer I'm glad you were satisfied with my recommendation. If I have to leave my car someplace, I want to know it's going to be taken care of. Yes the Gundo Hack is a driving expirence change. It has just the right balance of sound. It's quite enough that it isn't intrusive while at the same time it can let it's presents be known when you want it.

AZPete: Your PSE is what the Gundo Hack simulates, only the Gundo is open all the time.
