Its not one person, its the combined car driving population who tends to do this with some moronic belief they are doing good when in fact, on aggregate are contributing a bunch of noise and air pollution to the world needlessly that is the problem. Do you run the faucet when brushing your teeth? Driving a car of any type doesn't mean one has to be an arrogant waster of resources. I'm just sayin...

As others have stated, let the car warm until the high idle drops. Short shift (below 4K) until oil temp is around 200F. NEVER use the Sport button below 200F.

and shut the water when brushing and we ll all be OK .

Why not use the sport button until the oil temp warms up to 200F? I think as long as you keep the rpm below 4k, you will be ok to use the sport button. My car drives a lot better on sport mode. Normal mode is not made for these kind of cars unless you need to save money to pay for them.
