Strange question and I'm not sure anyone on here would know the answer. Is there a way to tell if you have the updated alternator cable or not? Reason I ask is that I bought an 08 C2S this fall which had a fresh motor shipped in from Gernmany as the po I belive had IMS failure. Would a motor that was reman'ed in 2013 have the newer cable?

 

Previous had all the service records which was great so I knew it had been done.
Same for the RMS
