i own a carrera 997.2 cab and don't regret not getting the S. loads of fun and loads of power. drop the top for fun in the sun. no matter what you get, there will be a faster and more expensive porsche than yours. buy what you want with whatever you're comfortable spending.

 

IMO you need to drop that ride. my carrera is running on gen 1 turbos and the wheelgaps were HUGE and looked like yours before i lowered it. sits much more aggressively now. everyone's different though.

how do you like your v12s by the way? i don't like mine so much, ride and handling seem inferior to pilot sports, will go back to michelin after these are done.

 

Very sharp. Love that rear bumper. Any thoughts of coilovers or springs to settle the stance a bit? Never understood why the US base cars are so elevated. I've seen them in Europe and to my eyes they sit much lower there.
