No. Those are from the 70's or 80's. I'd do that look if I owned a 997.2 C4S. Having vinyl made to cover the entire reflector would be cheap and easy. Lights?, not so much but then again, not entirely necessary.

I think based on feedback and what I'm leaning towards, it's #3 which means I'll put the original "Carrera 4S" emblems back on

But I must admit, no emblems looks pretty clean too
I don't know if it's possible, but if you like the "clean look" and you like the "Carrera 4S" look, have you considered having the badge painted to match the color of your car? A bit of a compromise, but you get a relatively clean look and still have the badge as well.

ive seen several 997s on the forum that have the "P O R S C H E" mod done on the rear... it doesnt look 'natural' for some reason.

congrats on the beautiful new purchase.

Thanks! If you see a couple of examples of 997s with "PORSCHE", please send my way. I probably won't do it but just curious what it would look like.

I'll probably just put back the original emblems which is silver in color, and matches the cars exterior.

Man, if I knew someone who can mod the reflector to make it light up to match the factory brake lights, I would do it in a heart beat. I think that would look great.
