I'll post some pics of pieces done like this that my friend has along side real carbon pieces that I have and let you guys decide. As mentioned when done right it is very very good and quite a savings over buying carbon parts that can yellow, crack, lift etc if not done right. The link I posted, that company does it right. The weave look is perfectly aligned.
