Dectane Rears Arrived Today

Install was really simple. They've come a long way from the installation videos on youtube where wire harnesses were shared and resistors spliced atop existing signal wires... The dectanes, although no instructions were included in the box, were easy to install and everything was of the highest quality. Very impressive to say the least.

I should add that the 4th pic is of the brakes applied on OEM lights.

Be sure to thoroughly clean out the light well before installing the new lights. I can't believe how many posts/videos I saw where the new lights were installed over years of crud that had built up. RIDICULOUS!

Anyway, here are a few more shots. 1st) headlights on, 2nd) left turn signal 3rd) brake applied. It's hard to capture them as the iPhone cannot adjust for the sheer lumens these put out. A huge difference from stock!

FVD. It was a simple transaction and ground shipping proved plenty fast. About 3 days to New Jersey.

I really like the Gen 2 looks of the Dectane LEDs, better than Rottec. Does these has resistors? mine are Depo custom by DelRey, they have resistor/impedance box attached.

The Rottec fron DRLs are pretty nice...when are you getting some?

Yes they came with a set of resistors already installed and another simple snap on set for 997.1 and turbos. It was a snap and the product looked oem quality.

I think you are all set as far as optics are concerned

If you are planning a few more mods for power I can certainly help. Just send me an email and I will be happy to reply with a quote.

So what about the condensation disclaimer on the FVD site. Have you experienced that yet?
