After I read your post, I went to the car and activated the turn signal and the side markers do flash along with the front and rear turn lights.

What am I missing?

My side markers don't flash with my turn signals. However I read somewhere here that with the Durametric cable that feature can be changed to activate it. Maybe someone can chime in on that?

That's correct. The side bumper markers act like park lights and do not flash like turn signals unless the option is activated through the ECU coding. I recently purchased a durametric pro cable and turned this function on since it seems to be more useful that way on the road. I also went ahead and enabled the window open/close function when arming/disarming alarm through the key remote.

It still seems nobody has figured out how to make LEDs that never throw codes or fail in some other manner... I like the look of Dectanes, but won't make the jump until I'm convinced they're going to last and be worry-free.
Standard OEM clear markers with CANBUS LED bulbs - no codes.
