Led Side Markers

I am searching for LED side markers, and so far have found the following:

-ebay.com @ $136 (yellow led)

-ebay.com @ $110 (white led)

Anybody have bought either of these? Results? My main concerns would be error codes and not enough light output

Legal issues aside, what color do you prefer and why?

TIA

I prefer the white ones (if I have to choose) cause I don't see the point of getting the yellow ones as they will look no different than what you already have on the car.

Post some pic when you get it installed......

I have them on my car. I love the look because they tie into the LED DRL's.

HOWEVER!! I am on my second set of lights. Can't tell you how long it was, but the driver's side started to flicker, then the upper LED didn't come on. Then the passenger side started to do the same. Ordered another set...only Paid $ 60.00 and so far so good.

I like the light that shines back on the wheel, it really shows up at night.

Don't have pics on this computer, but IMO they look cool. But then again...i'm someone who likes Dectanes!

Keep in mind that turn signals that blink white are illegal, so ymmv.

It still seems nobody has figured out how to make LEDs that never throw codes or fail in some other manner... I like the look of Dectanes, but won't make the jump until I'm convinced they're going to last and be worry-free.

Correct about the turn signals blinking...but these are side marker lights. Cop would have to have a big hard on to pull me over for that...but that's why I replaced them.

I get no errors on the side markers. However on my ROTech DRL's I get one error on the passenger side once in a while...ONLY when I have the headlights turned on.

I just ignore it.

Whoops you are right, I was thinking of turn signals/DRLs.

Technically white sidemarkers are illegal too, but as you said it is unlikely to be pulled over for that.

I get a code on my rear lights, every now and then, but once I clear it, the light goes away. I guess it's a pain, but oh well.
