Wheel Help for 2006 Carrera 4S

I am buying a 2006 Carrera 4S (Guards Red) that comes with the "Lobster Claw" wheels. The car is great but the wheels are not my favorite - nice, but I want to replace them. I would like to get a set that matches the picture I have attached. Were these available for the 06 4S? Just a quirk of mine, but I only want to replace wheels that were available for the car in 2006. If anyone has some insight on this, I would appreciate your feedback.

Picking the car up this week. Much excitement!

I like the idea of keeping a correct OEM wheel on an older Porsche....
Often some ditch a good quality wheel for an aftermarket wheel that is substandard.
Good luck on the pick up. Pics!!

I finally posted this because I have checked a large number of locations regarding these wheels. I believe that they will fit on an 06, but I have not been able to find a listing w/ pics for wheels that confirms they were available as a wheel selection for 2006. I suspect they were, but would like confirmation from people who know more than I do about this topic.

Any input will be greatly appreciated!

Cerbomark - Thank you for the link. The link doesn't show the 10 spoke that I posted a picture of. It does show the 15 spoke, which would be my second choice. I am not in a rush, as the current wheels are fine. My problem is that once I get on the hunt for something, I tend to get the OCD thing going. I bookmarked the link. It looks like a good source for the 15ers. Thanks again!

I personally saw these rims myself. And if I didn't get the rims I have now, attached pic, I would have bought these. I think these are what you are looking for.

They are in good shape and are OEM.

I was just perusing eBay and saw those wheels posted (tires included) at http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-997-...485252&vxp=mtr

They aren't cheap but are certainly better than buying new. Seller claims they are in good condition (no affiliation).

I should add: He lists the offsets. You'll need to verify that those are the correct offsets for your car (you can look for the offsets stamped next to the valve stem on OEM wheels).

Lobster "fork" because in a very conceptual way they resemble a lobster "fork" and not a lobsters claw.

Best if luck on your search

These are the factory rims that came on my 08 4S. You will need spacers for the rears. The ones in the link (6speed classifieds) seem like a good deal. I'm considering getting aftermarket rims to replace mine, but they are not it in very good shape with curb rash and some chipping. Let me know if your interested, I'd probably be willing to part with them for fairly cheap.

Spiffy - excellent! I called the site and they were very helpful. I got 4 different wheels that were available for the 2006.
